Setting up shop!

I love saying those words! It reminds me of when my family and I opened a dance studio. We painted the walls ballet pink and drilled holes in the walls to hold the barres, put our big giant dance floor together like a puzzle, figured out a name and hung up the floor length mirrors... it was very fun and when the doors opened I was so excited to show it off! How my Etsy shop is coming to be is very similar (minus the drilling and the hammering), right down to the first order of business: naming my store! For me, that was the trickiest part, but A Fine Fancy really became what I wanted and I'm very pleased with it. Now all I have to do is start listing my items! If only I could find my camera...

I'm quite pleased to welcome you to the launch of my blog that will showcase my homemade jewelry and other scribbles and pictures I feel must be shared. I've wanted to start a blog for the longest time, but I never had anything worthy to write about...well, that and I'm totally intimidated by all the blogs I've read so far. This is my attempt! So, here we go and I hope you delight in all of the things that send me over the moon!
